Reserve Workshop and Payment ("Spring at Maudslay" May 2012)

The cost of the "Spring at Maudslay" workshop is $475.00 US and includes the workshop and Friday lunch only. Participants are responsible for their own accommodations, transportation and meals. This reservation fee of $225.00 is non-refundable after March 15, 2012. Please pay in full the remaining $250.00 balance no later than April 15, 2012.

Donald Jurney Workshops

This site is designed to showcase the landscape and plein air painting workshops of American artist Donald Jurney. These unique offerings present an opportunity to gain technical and philosophical insight into Donald's working methods. Through demonstrations, lectures and critiques you will attain a greater understanding of the visual language of painting, and a heightened observational awareness of what it means to see the world through the eyes of an artist.

Donald Jurney Bio

Donald Jurney was born in Rye, New York in 1945 and was educated at Columbia University, The Pratt Institute and The Art Students League. He has lived and worked in the Hudson River Valley, England and extensively in France. Donald Jurney's paintings are represented by Quidley and Company in both Boston and Nantucket, McColl Fine Art in Charlotte, and the Todd Bonita Gallery in Ogunquit, Maine. His work is widely collected internationally by private and corporate patrons and is included in the permanent collections of the Oakland Museum in California, Museum of the City of New York and the Husdon River Museum. Donald now lives and maintains a studio on the North Shore of Boston where he continues to focus on sharing his distinct and inspiring vision of the landscape.
